First Post of the New Year

Happy New Year friends.  I hope each and everyone one of you enjoyed the holidays as well as a happy new year.  I did, with my new family.  Well, in less than four months I will officially be a married man.  Time is starting to pick as our wedding day approaches.  My fiancé has been the driving force behind all of the planning.  Don't get me wrong, I help when I can. One thing I have done is contribute financially-I would do nothing less.  It took me several months but I have finally found a rhythm to my new life.  There have been several changes since Carla and I moved in together.  One of the biggest changes is the addition of Xena, a full blooded pit that wondered into our yard one next just over 2 months ago.  She is the most gentle soul, wouldn't harm a fly and great around the kids.  Sheba isn't a fan.  And she's had a rough time adjusting to these changes.  We have to keep them separated because Sheba will attack her and the last time they fought Sheba ended up getting seriously injured.  Xena, will fight if provoked  and she's bigger, stronger and younger than Sheba.  So we keep them separated.  It's just better that way.  We start out first marriage counseling session-the first of six-this Saturday.  Once we get back from the honeymoon the hard part starts.  We start looking for a house and all the other married couple stuff.  Hopefully I will start podcasting again but this time on my own.  I feel like I may work better on my own in that regard.  I learned a great deal working with my former partner.  This new living situation is working out better than I expected as our family unit has come together as a functioning unit.  Her parents help out a great deal with the bills, food and cleaning.  Stuff that Carla and I are too busy to deal with.  I've even figured out a way to tweak my diet so I don't have to miss out on the good home cooking.  There are still lots of things I can't eat but there are lots of things I can eat ;-)
I hope this entry finds you all well.  I have to go, lots of stuff to do.  Like always.  Take care my friends.
